Guru
Its so important in life to have a person who you connect to as well as, who is ready to teach you something in life. Sounds really philosophical and makes me look like a 60 year old :-) but surprisingly, I believe in it.
I recently started interacting with one of my seniors who is working on his project in college. He had a very inherent urge of sharing his knowledge. And I felt that I could learn the process so lucidly and fast, better than most of the 'well-educated' teachers in the college. Hypocritical teachers are a very big problem here, I realised. Instead i feel, that if every person gets to meet someone in life who could really teach him something he likes, or at least creates an interest in it, he would get the chances of excelling in life.
Though you find such people very rarely in the world, keep looking out for that Guru or whatever you may call him, to discover a new perspective to life.. !

Very well said about finding a person who would add the much needed perspective on many of life's musings! All of us are constantly though not consciously looking for a figure that would cast a significant difference in our worn out lives. And, indeed its always healthy for the mind and for us as an individual to grow with that someone else who influences and channels our thoughts also allowing us to find inner sanctum!
ReplyDeleteI think the important part is being in tune with such people, to be able to absorb as much as we can from them...then, would i say there is a definitve meaning in our existance!
well thats so true...!! i am happy someone atleast thinks this way..!
ReplyDeleteI agree, Shreyas.. I have to say the person I connect with most is the person who wrote this post! I know you don't teach me something I can apply in my academics like the senior you're talking about teaches you.. but I have learned a lot from you in many other ways... :)
