Growing up...
When you start thinking about these two words, an entire parallel universe of sorts relating to your own is created in your mind, right from the silliest things from childhood which made you happy, to the toughest decisions that you have had to make in your life. The incidents may be many and varying in intensity, but the kind of impact they have on you, is the actual skeleton of your 'growing up'.
So what does growing up actually do to you? Well I feel it teaches you how to be happy, and more so when you are sad; and when you have lived that, be there to make people's lives a tad less sad.. Sounds so difficult and complicated, but is so natural for everybody..
The funniest thing about growing up is that, its impact is same on everyone, I mean, when you reminisce about the fact that it has been so many years that I have not been a child, you lose yourself in a maze of sorts (like they show in the cartoons) bumping into things that you had seen earlier in your life, which look familiar, but seem old and untouched for a long time.
Growing up builds your character, decides your taste, gets you friends and foes alike; Builds everlasting impressions of the tiniest and the hugest things you see around, be it a broken toy or the death of someone too close to you. Be it any of these, as you complete the circle of your thought, you realise that I still have so much more to grow up, reminding yourself that you are still a kid and are still learning new stuff..
So, Happy growing up for everyone..!! Hope you enjoy every moment of it.. :)
